NATORE, Oct 16, 2018 (BSS) – State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today called upon all to be vocal against drugs, terrorism and militancy to make the development sustainable.
“Drugs, terrorism and militancy only destroy lives and obstruct development and progress of a family, society and country as well. We have to free our society from the grip of drugs and militancy at any cost. We have to become vocal against social diseases like eve-teasing, child marriage and dowry,” Palak said.
The state minister came up with the observations while addressing a discussion organised by local community police unit in Singra upazila in Natore this afternoon.
Superintendant of Natore Police Biplob Bijoy Talukder, Assistant Superintendant of Police Meer Asaduzzamn, Chamari Union Parishad Chairman Rashidul Islam and former Chairman Shahadat Hossain addressed the discussion, among others.
