“Every day the anti-government parties including the BNP are sharply criticizing the government making the falsehood that the country has no right to freedom of speech. But they are participating in the talk shows at different private television channels and are resorting to falsehood…it is nothing but absolute falsehood,” he said this to the journalist replying to a query before joining a view exchange meeting here.

Hanif said although the BNP along with other anti-government parties are unleashing falsehood against the government but they are enjoying the opportunity of the media outlets in the name of talkshows on a regular basis as the country has no embargo on freedom of speech.

On arrest of any alleged criminals, the ruling party leader said “BNP is claiming that the government is apprehending their activists or leaders which mean that all criminals are belonging to the party.”
