All four NCL matches end in draw
DHAKA, Oct 11, 2018 (BSS)- All the four matches of the four-day 20th
National Cricket League ended in a tame draw after rained washed out the
entire fourth and last day’s play at four separate venues across the country.
At Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, the tier-1 match between Khulna
Division and Barisal Division ended in a draw after Khulna Division declared
their first innings at 349 for 7.
At Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, the tier-2 match between Dhaka Division
and Dhaka Metropolis ended in tie after the umpire called off the play due to
rain.
At Sheikh Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi, the tier-1 match between
Rajshahi Division and Rangpur Division ended in a draw after the match was
called off for the third consecutive day.
At the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar, the
tier-2 match between Chittagong Division and Sylhet Division finished equal
after the fourth day’s play was called off due to rain.
