Condolences pour in for Sayedul Hoque

DHAKA, Dec 16, 2017 (BSS) – Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad, ministers, state ministers of different ministries today expressed profound shock at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque.

In separate messages, they recalled his contribution to the Six-point Movement and the country’s great Liberation War.

Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury expressed profound shock at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque.

She also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed expressed deep shock at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque.

Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu also expressed profound shock and grief at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque. In his message, he described Sayedul as an efficient political organizer at the grassroots level.

LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has expressed deep shock at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque.

In his death, he said, the nation has lost a dedicated politician as Sayedul made a valuable contribution to the well-being of people and society.

Besides, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Minister Nurul Islam expressed their deep shock at the death of Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Muhammed Sayedul Hoque.

They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family. The first Namaz-e-Janaza of Sayedul Hoque will be held tomorrow at 9.30am at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad. Later, his body would be taken to Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria district by helicopter where his second Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on the Ashutosh Pilot High School ground at 11am.

He will be buried at his family graveyard after third Namaz-e-Janaza.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Muhammed Sayedul Hoque died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at 8.30am today.

He was 75, an official release said.

Sayedul left behind his wife, one son, a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death.
